Mustard Seed

Mustard Seeds are the tiny round seeds of numerous mustard plants. These seeds are typically between 1 to 2 millimeters in diameter and can be from yellowish white to black in color. They are significant spice in numerous regional foods and may originate from one of three dissimilar plants: brown Indian mustard, black mustard, or white mustard.

Grinding and mingling the seeds with vinegar, water, or other fluids, forms the yellow condiment recognized as prepared mustard.
